Please remember that this week we take the NWEA Reading and Math test on Wed and Thursday. It is so so important for your child to be here to avoid time consuming make-up testing. Kids may bring stick gum and a protein snack on those days.
There is no writing today, as I am still grading the journals from last week.
Today we did a cool scientific experiment again running through the different steps of the scientific method. Ask your child what the Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet eating her curds and whey has to do with our science class. If they can tell you the difference between a curd and a whey write Ms. Muffet in their planner and earn them an extra $50.

As you can see we have three field trips coming up. They are all free to you except the Jail. Watch for more information. We will have to pay for out bus out there. More details to come. HOWEVER, kids will have to buy into each field trip for $1000 each with their fake money. For most kids, this will not be a problem. For some, they will have trouble paying for one. The number one reason kids are loosing money in here is NOT DOING THEIR HOMEWORK! Please make sure you are checking their planners and seeing the work highlighted. This is work they are to bring home! Kids that can't buy in, will stay at school and complete an alternative assignment. They still have time, so encourage them to earn that money! BELIEVE!
