Hi there. Sorry to post so late. If you have ever moved, you understand the fact that time flies. I did get out to school today however. I am again sad to report that the day did not go well on Friday. I want to talk to the kids tomorrow morning and hear their side, but it was not just the sub. The kids also had to leave PE early on Friday due to so much arguing. Mr. Ness is very, very tolerable so it must have been pretty bad for him to take them back to class early. Therefore, I am leaning towards NOT going on the field trip tomorrow. I will have to divide them to into groups to go to different areas with different adult, and honestly I don't feel confident not being with all of the kids. I don't want arguing or disrespect for guest speakers or teachers again. I also don't believe that my class deserves to go. Like I said above, I want to hear their side, but I am guessing the sub was pretty accurate. If we don't go, kids will NOT get their thousand dollars back. It will be their fine for their choices. I know that some kids were great, but I can't send just some, and I really don't know how to figure out who. Like I said the other day, their were many times she had to charge ALL the kids money because she couldn't figure out who was talking. I will be gone again on the 29th of October so I hope that the kids learn their lesson that this behavior is not tolerated by me or the real world. It is a huge respect, trust, kindness, and responsibility issue.
On a positive note, Yay Tanner and family for volunteering this weekend for our Rachel's Challenge Project! She was for sure smiling and proud of you for going even in the rain! :0)
