BUG Club and Testing Results=AWESOME Day!

Congratulations B.U.G. Club Winners!!! All award winners were treated to an award, some prizes, pizza and juice. Fun times for great grades! Mr. Senitte challenged all 4-6th graders to get 100 winners for 4th quarter. If so, we get ice cream and cookies! We can do it!! It just takes work. Speaking of work: ask you child what Rusty's definition for work was today at CC meeting. If they can tell you write the word EFFORT in their planner for a $10 bonus.

We took our Language NWEA test today. In all 8 years of teaching at Bitterroot Elementary I have NEVER had every student have growth. UNTIL this year!!!!! Our high was Jacob with a 39 point growth. OMG!!! Students were expected to make a 6 point growth in the 4th grade to be on track for the 5th grade. Ask your child what their growth point number was today. Write it in their planner for another $10 bonus at check in. So, so proud of these kids. They are doing awesome! We have one more test to go. Our Math NWEA test will be on Thursday afternoon. Please make sure to wish your kids good luck. We are rocking these tests!!

Speaking of tests...the Western Regional States and Capitals test will be this Friday. Study, study. Try out the new games to test your geography puzzle skills. My score was 188.8 seconds. Can you beat me? It really does help if you know the name of the state. Also, make sure to have your child listen and learn Wakko's 50 states song. If they do they will pass the end states and capitals test for sure!!!
