Hi there! I just received a text from the sub from Thursday and Friday, and she said the class ran like clock work! She was totally impressed, and I am so, so, so, happy!! Thank you for being such amazing kids!!!! I also received an email from Mr. Senitte complimenting my class. Oh my!! So proud to be their teacher. What a great way to come back after surgery.
Speaking of surgery. All went well. They actually found quite a bit of scar tissue, especially above my knee cap that they removed. They also found part of my ACL still in tact with a slight tear. This means, I probably won't need further surgery. God is good! Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. It really does make a difference. I am however in some slight pain. I do great when my leg is up and icing. I can last about an hour on it and then it is pretty swelled. It decreases when I ice or stretch. I think that I will be fine for this week. I will try tomorrow, and then we will see how the rest of the week goes. Mr. Senitte knows that I will be having to sit down a bit more, but that will not affect my teaching. If it does, then I will get a sub.
Tomorrow, Jeff the Nature Guy will be here in the afternoon. We will be doing a lot of activities with earthworms and the food chain. It will take up the entire afternoon. Fun hopefully in the sun. All these activities will prepare us for our visit to his neck of the woods in Red Lodge this coming Friday. I better be able to go!!!!
Here are some pictures of our Pompey's Pillar trip. I heard it was a blast, and I also heard we brought back some tics with us. That happens every year. Hopefully, you were able to do a complete check this weekend.
