No School Monday!

Well hello there.

Another successful week, and today was our best day yet. We moved on in math to working with numbers in the millions. Our first quizzes on the thousands came home tonight with every child. They are in their take home folders. Language and spelling tests also came home. Seems like everyone is on track thus far, but some need to buckle down, pay attention in class, and study every day. (Especially their spelling words!)

We will be welcoming a new student to our class on Tuesday. She comes to us from Utah. Now we are back up to twenty! Yay!!!! I love even numbers!

Just a reminder that there is no school on Monday for Labor Day. Students will need their gym shoes for Tuesday.

For an extra $50 find out together when the first Labor Day (Year) was??? Write the answer in your child's planner for Tuesday.

Have a great weekend and play outside!!

PLEASE NOTE!!!!!!

Parent Open House is this coming Tuesday, Sept. 7th from 6:00-7:30. There are three half hour sessions. This is an important time for us (teachers and parents only) to talk about 4th grade expectations. Please, please plan to attend. You can earn $500 for your child if you do. Cya then!
