Today was a GREAT day!!! We were able to get a lot done and we had a nice quiet day. Kids are continuing to understand my expectations more and more. Yay Team Erickson!!!!

In spelling we did a scratch art project. As you know, one of our spelling words this week is crayon. So in our spelling book they had this activity. Kids brought home their finished projects today, so ask to see them. Very neat! Above are some pictures of them doing it.
Today we also did another science experiment dealing with a pickle jar, water balloon, fire, and a straw. Have kids explain how we did it. Put the word AIR in their planner (they MUST mention that word in the explanation) by your signature and earn them an extra $50 tomorrow. Try the same experiment together at home with a hard boiled egg and a water bottle. They MUST do it with you though. It is like MAGIC!!!
