Kids need to make a November calendar to record their reading minutes on. It started this las Monday, Nov. 1 and will end on Wed, Nov. 30th. Please help them make one or print one out. Keeping it on the fridge all month is always the best bet. Thanks!
We played a game in SS today to help kids study their states and capitals. Oh my!!! I sure can tell the two or three that have been studying. Please encourage your kids to study, study, study! There are 11 states and 11 capitals in the NE region. The test will most likely be in a week or so. More to come...
Read 180 Kids!!!! I just found out, as any of you did, during conferences that ALL Read 180 kids are to be reading their assigned AR book every night. They test on these books during their lunch time book club on Mondays. Kids need to PASS four tests each month. Yikes!! This reading time can be used for their calendar time!!!
Have a wonderful evening, and earn $50 tomorrow for you child by asking THEM to tell you what the national capital is. It is found in the NE region that we have been studying. Write what they say in their planner for the bonus money at tomorrow's check in.
