Back in Action...Well Kind of. :0)

Hi there. Well, I made it through the entire day. However, I hardly have a voice left. Much better though. Thank you to all of you that texted me to check on me. How sweet. Good to know that you see me as more than your child's teacher. Thanks.

Today, my reading kids started their Christmas around the world studies. Kids were partnered up with a Hankin's class kid. They then selected a country out of a bucket. Then, away they went. Presentations will be due this Friday. They will have all week in class to work on them. If they stay on task and cooperate all week they should have no problem getting things done.

We studied our states and capitals again today using our BINGO cards. Man, some kids were wishing they studied to win that $100 prize. Keep those maps and flashcards going. Test is this Friday! If you child can tell you the capital of South Carolina write it in the planner for an extra $50 at check in tomorrow.
