Wow!! What a day of too many kids without their homework done. I just don't understand where kids get the idea that homework is optional. It has NEVER been optional, not even in kindergarten. Are there chores at home optional? Is eating optional? Nope. Well, neither is homework. We discussed, in length, 4th grade expectations again today. I had some kids not have their homework done in four or five subjects in one day. No! There are going to be a lot of sad kids sitting in the hall during our Valentine's Day party if this keeps up. A HUGE thanks to those students that did all their homework. I so, so, so appreciate you!! Keep up the great work!
Kids have library tomorrow. Please remind them to bring their books. It has been awhile.
Oh, and ask your kiddos who the "Peanut Man" is. If they can tell ya, write down their answer in their planner to earn an extra $10 tomorrow at check in.
