Hi there. Mr. Senitte made a guest appearance today during Social Studies. As you may or may not know, Mr. Senitte was born and raised in Cody, Wyoming. Therefore, the kids got a first hand look into Mr. Buffalo Bill Cody. We learned a lot. He challenged the kids to do some digging and find out what William Cody's middle name was and what his daughter's name is. His daughter's name is the same name as a very famous restaurant in Cody. (It is named after her after all!) If you and your child can find the answers to that then write the two names in their planner for $20 each!!! Wow!!!
I showed the kids the Social Studies report boards today so they know what size to get. They may bring them in as you purchase them. Make sure their name is on the back. I will keep them until we reach that stage in the project. I bought mine today at Walmart in the school supply section for $2.88. They only had three though, so you may have to try Target, Office Depot, and or other stores. We won't need them for about a week. Thanks.
