This morning we spent a large chunk of our time writing our letters of gratitude to the Airmen of the RED HORSE Unit. We then addressed our envelopes, (using perfect grammar rules!), and then taped them onto our favorite box of Girl Scout Cookies. They are in the mail and one their way to some very eager Airmen. Those that were absent will write their letters on Tuesday and I will mail them out on Wednesday. So, so proud of each of these kids for making a difference in a soldier's life. I will also be making a hall display of these pictures so they can see them and be proud!!!
Use some of this time to make some new flashcards and study the states and capitals of the Midwest Region. They are off to the right of this blog.
Grade reports came home today attached to some class projects. Save those because I will be posting some money opportunities dealing with all of them. Only the grade sheet needs to be returned on Tuesday though for $100.
