Oh my goodness the creativity in this class has once again amazed me. What cool, cool volcanoes!!! Take a look! We have invited the entire school to watch them blow their tops on Friday (45 degrees!!!) at 12:45. Feel free to join us as well. I will try my best to get some action photos. ALL volcanoes are due FRIDAY at the latest.
March Calendars should be in full force. I told the class that there is one student in my class that has all A's in reading but is currently earning a C due to missing reading calendars. Missing assignments just kill the grades, so read every night and mark it. At the end of the month return your sheet.
Miss. Butler was in our class again this morning talking about stress. Perfect timing as we are right smack in the middle of the stressful testing period of school. She gave us all some great advise on how to destress before we turn in for the night. She also showed us what happens to us (the balloon) if we go to bed stressed and then wake up and add new stress. Ask your child and write down the answer in their planner to earn an extra $20 at check in tomorrow.
Speaking of testing...we start back up tomorrow. We will be taking our reading test tomorrow at 10:00. Please do every thing in your power to have kids here tomorrow. Make ups are a huge pain and kids have to miss important class time to make them up. If they are really sick, it is better to keep them at home though, and we understand that. Thanks.
