We Are On A Break...Well, All Of Us Except the Raw Egg.

Well, that was just about the best assignment I have ever seen as a teacher. Those news reports were awesome!!!!! Kids were well prepared and I could tell that they took facts from the books and applied them to their scripts. I also saw a lot of connections to the kids personally and some pretty funny kids!! And, how professional did they look?? Great job everyone. Enjoy watching them too.

Tomorrow is a half day, and kids will have a sub. There is no school Thursday, Friday, or Monday. Enjoy your time!!!

Tomorrow, your child will bring home their wheat samples. They need to water them over the break and then bring them back on Tuesday. They need to sit for one more week before we can make our conclusions. Thanks.

When we come back we will be starting many new units and a new novel in Reading. We have limited time left in the last quarter and still so much to do! We have to stay focussed and press forward. Yes!!!!

Over the break, students need to begin to work on their operation egg drop projects. I sent home all the rules and directions today. The projects are not due until Friday the 27th. Please encourage your child to get a good start on this beginning this week. Do not have them wait until the last minute! Remember, they should test it out and remember all three laws of motion when doing this. The laws are also written on the information/direction sheet. Have fun together doing this.
