If your child is in my reading class, an AR reading report came home today. Everything is explained on it. Only the top stapled part needs to be signed and returned tomorrow. You may keep the report.
ALL field trip permission slips are due TOMORROW if your child wants to go on Friday. Also, students must buy in by tomorrow if they wish to participate in Friday's trip to Pompey's Pillar.
Today in S.S., we continued with our MT History. Kids had to read and report on a famous person from Montana without a script! They had to do it from memory! They did awesome. 6 need to go tomorrow, and I can't wait to learn more! Fun! Ask your child who they did their report on and why they were famous. Write the name in the planner for an extra $50 tomorrow at check in.
Tonight's writing was a visualization. Kids need to close their eyes and visualize a flying car. They need to label some cool gadgets and give it a name. They also need to color their visual to match the scene that comes in their head. Lastly, they need to have fun with it. Ask to see it and have them share the details for it. If they do, write the word CAR in their planner for another $50 bonus.
Have another soggy night. Thanks to Hailey and Brooke for going worm hunting in yesterday's puddles. Our worm farm is growing! I hope that none of them escape. Yikes!
