Pandas Galore!

Hi. Well, the rain has gone away for the moment, but we are expecting a huge return tomorrow.

Today, we began our new science unit on predator/prey, consumer/producer, omnivore, carnivore, and herbivore study. We took a close look at two types of bears: panda and polar. They are both bears, but as we discovered in class, they are very different from one another. We watched some youtubes on both animals, but I would like you and your child to watch this one together. It is pretty cool to see them in a more natural environment. Watch them play, eat, scratch their backs, and climb trees. Pay close attention to what teeth they use to chew their food. If you do, write how many times the panda actually climbs the tree in the planner for a $50 bonus tomorrow. Write down what time the video starts and the temperature in C for an extra $50. :0)

Have fun!
