Today, we continued on our journey through Montana History. Ask your child what the state flower and bird are. If they can tell you, write them down for a $50 bonus tomorrow. Sacajawea is quickly becoming an important asset to the Lewis and Clark exploration!
Kids paid for their upcoming field trips today. They needed $2000 to go on both. Most were able to pay for both. If your child was unable to pay they still have time. We will go to Pompey's Pillar on Friday, May 13th and Red Lodge on Friday, May 20th. They can pay at anytime. There will be a $2 real money fee for the Red Lodge trip. We are able to pay for the bus, but not the entrance. Wow! Busses are expensive!!!! Darn gas prices! Please send the $2 with your child on that day so they can pay to get into the Nature Center. Both trips will also require a sack lunch. Lunches may be purchased from our lunch room. Watch for the permission form coming home soon.
Tonight's writing assignment is Would you rather have to drink using only an eye dropper OR have to eat using only a thumbtack? Why?
April Calendars were due today. I will take them tomorrow as a grade, but students will not receive the money bonus. Midterms were also due back today.
Lastly, please remind your child to bring their gym shoes tomorrow. Thanks.
Have a great night!
