Hi Mark and Paul!
We are so proud to share with you that the two 4th grade classes at Bitterroot Elementary in the Billings Heights has raised $193 to donate to Flakesgiving. For the past three days we have offered our classes three optional "fun day" activities that they can buy into for $1 each. So, for example, we had kids in their pjs, listening to IPods, bringing their favorite stuffed animal, wearing a hat, eating their leftover Halloween candy for snack, and chewing gum on different days. The kids that bought into the events brought money that THEY earned for doing chores around their house and/or from their OWN piggy banks. We tried very hard to stress that by their age (10) they need to start to understand the concept of paying it forward. We are honored to help our community and support the Flakesgiving Fund. Thanks for all you do!

Tomorrow is GRIZ/bobcat day at Bitterroot. Kids are encouraged to support their favorite Montana team by wearing their GRIZ/bobcat clothing and/or colors. Can you tell which one I am?? Go GRIZ!! Mrs. Hankins and I have a running bet that if, I mean when, the GRIZ beat the bobcats then she has to bake cookies for my class. And, if by some small chance her team wins, then I have to do the same. So, for the sake of our cookies...GO GRIZ!!!! Kids that participate earn an extra $100 tomorrow at check in. Write your favorite team (GRIZ or bobcat) in your child's planner and earn an extra $50 tomorrow. (Yes, I will pay those that write bobcat as well :0))
Have a great night!
