We have a couple of big tests coming up too. This Friday is our Ch. 2 Math Test, and next Monday is the NE states and capitals test.
Many kids went home with math homework today. It was the chapter review. We will go over every problem and every concept tomorrow before Friday's test. Because of this, there is no writing tonight.
The art teacher is in need of toilet paper/paper towel rolls (just the cardboard insides). I will reward $100 for each roll donated. Recycle...YEAH!!!!
Great news...the talking has seemed to correct itself in this classroom. I knew it would. Now, however it seems to be the listening that needs some work. Are you seeing this at home too or is it just me. I am having to repeat, repeat, repeat directions over and over again. I had six students that had to redo their science paper today because they did not follow the directions. Crazy stuff! Please talk about listening the first time directions are given tonight with your child. Thanks.
Lastly, great job discovering the name of the FDR's dog last night. I am wondering now who can discover which president did not live in the White House. Find out, write it down, and earn $50 tomorrow at check in. Happy Hunting!
