We have been studying temperature in science class, and today we discovered how temperature affects snow. Ever wonder why the snow is sometimes heavy and sticks and other times it is light and doesn't stay on the ground?? Well...your child can now tell you. Ask your child to tell you three facts about snow, and make sure they tell you at least one that has to do with temperature and snow. If they can tell you, write the word SNOWFLAKE in their planner to earn an extra $50 tomorrow at check in. If your child shows you how to make a six pointed snowflake, have them bring it in with your signature on it and earn another $100 reward! It takes great practice to get it just right. Don't believe me...check out the hallway. We have some VERY talented snowflake makers (after three or four times :0)). Have fun!!
Kids have their 6's multiplication test tomorrow. They should be on the computer games for at least 15 minutes and should complete their 6's wipe off board at least once. Please check them early so they don't write the wrong answer a million times. Kids are starting to memorize these, and I know that has a lot to do with your encouragement. I promise you that all your effort and nagging will pay off!
Have a wonderful and warm evening!
