In both READ 180 and my reading class we have been working on a strategy to help us find out the meaning of words (clarify). It deals with using other words around it. What is the name of that strategy? Ask your child and write their answer in their planner for a $10 bonus tomorrow.
Also, in math today kids had to draw a 10 sided polygon. What is the name of a 10 sided polygon? Research it together on the internet tonight with your chid and write the name of it in their planner for another $10 bonus.
Grade reports will be coming home tomorrow. Look for those and see how great your kid is doing!
