Talk Money Tonight.

Whew! We worked hard to get those creative juices flowing today on our State Reports. Many kids took them home to finish. I told them not too much or it will take away from the learning. Simple and right to the point. All students, except Cameron, will be expected to be ready to present tomorrow. Presentations will take place over the next two days. Student names will be drawn out of a bucket to present.

Tonight is MacKenzie Pizza Night. If you go please remember to tell them you are from Bitterroot. $100 to families that go.

Our Valentine's Day Party will be on Monday, February 14th. Students will be selecting committees soon. I let the kids totally plan this one, and they LOVE it. Students will of course have to buy their way into the Valentine's Party for $500. The buy in date will be next Wednesday. If they can not pay by THAT date they will NOT be allowed to participate, even if they earn the money later. We have to have time to get the committees going and organized. Students that can't buy in will also not need to bring little cards to exchange as we do this during our party. I will send home a list of names next Wednesday of the kids participating. Students that are not able to buy in will have an alternative placement for the last hour that day. How is your child doing with their money? Do they have enough? Why or Why not? What plan are they making to earn money?

Thanks so much for all you do and for all the support you give me. I really am trying to mold your child into more than just a good 4th grader. I want them to leave my room knowing that they can do anything they put their minds to if they just buckle down and truly BELIEVE. Agree with me? Write BELIEVE in your child's planner for tomorrows $10 bonus at check in.
